Mobility

I have MS and an attendant mobility problem. When looking for a better way to keep my mobility and independence, I had a long hard look at most of the powered scooters, hand pedal trikes and the like.  I really disliked most of the electric buggies that are made available for people with disabilities. I was delighted when Tomorrows World featured a trike which had off road capabilities and a certain ‘style’.

This is it! The PDQ Power Trike. Its not just a handy way to get to the shops but also a genuine 0ff-roadster that can cope easily with rough paths, fields and even the beach.  The bonus is - it has style!  I did not feel out of place when I visited Honfluer in Normandy and found myself in the middle of a ‘bikers rally’.  The Harleys were great but my trike had as much, if not more, attention!

The Power Pack and front wheel are detachable and can be fitted in minutes to almost any chair. Let me know if you would like an official (free) demonstration from the makers (PDQ). e-mail: mobility@iainleslie.com .
